Justice Sunday II
Back in April Bill Frist starred in "Justice Sunday," an infamous televised political rally to push conservative judges (and promote holy war). Having bucked fundamentalist orthodoxy on stem-cell research, however, Frist isn't invited to the sequel, to be held in his own state in August. Everyone involved denies this is the reason, but as Pam Spaulding says, right.
Taking his place will be Zell Miller, a formerly pro-choice politician who recounts in his recent book how he changed his mind in the 1990s due to the influence of sonogram technology, a Newsweek cover photo, and a Roberta Flack song.
